Terms of Service & License Agreement

This document outlines the Terms of Service and License Agreement for AdonisJS Plus, a premium product suite that includes fullstack components ("Kit"), technical handbooks, and AI agent rules/skills for AdonisJS applications. By purchasing and using AdonisJS Plus, you agree to these terms. If you are entering into this agreement on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these terms.

License Grant

The creators of AdonisJS grant you a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the included Kit components, handbooks, and AI agent rules/skills according to the terms of your purchased license.

Personal License

The Personal License grants access to one individual.

You can:

• Use AdonisJS Plus in personal projects.
• Use AdonisJS Plus in client projects.
• Use AdonisJS Plus in open-source projects (as long as you build a legit product using them and do not create an open-source repo with the intention of redistribution).
• Modify Kit components to suit your project needs.

You cannot:

• Share access with others.
• Use AdonisJS Plus for multiple users or across a team.
• Redistribute Kit components, handbooks, or AI rules in any form.
• Create or distribute starter kits, boilerplates, themes, or templates that include Kit components.
• Use AdonisJS Plus to create tools that allow others to build their own products with Kit components.

Team License

The Team License grants access for up to 10 individuals within the same organization or team.

You can:

• Share access with up to 10 team members within your organization.
• Use AdonisJS Plus in unlimited projects and for unlimited clients.
• Modify Kit components to fit internal or client needs.
• Use AdonisJS Plus in open-source projects (as long as you build a legit product using them and do not create an open-source repo with the intention of redistribution).

You cannot:

• Share access outside your organization.
• Exceed 10 users without purchasing additional licenses.
• Redistribute Kit components, handbooks, or AI rules in any form.
• Create or distribute starter kits, boilerplates, themes, or templates that include Kit components.
• Use AdonisJS Plus to build tools that allow others to generate new products using Kit components.

Definitions

Examples of Allowed Usage

• Creating a personal or company website using Kit components
• Building a client project with AdonisJS Plus resources
• Developing a SaaS application with proprietary access to end users
• Launching a self-hosted app sold to customers
• Launching an open-source product that uses Kit components to speed up the development

Examples of Prohibited Usage

• Creating a public repository of Kit components without creating any end-use product
• Distributing starter kits, themes, or templates based on Kit components
• Creating tools or platforms that let users generate products using Kit resources
• Converting Kit components for other frameworks and sharing them
• Sharing access with anyone beyond the licensed user(s)

Intellectual Property

All components, handbooks, and AI agent rules included in AdonisJS Plus are the intellectual property of the creators of AdonisJS and are protected by international copyright and intellectual property laws. You receive a license to use them—not ownership.

Liability

The AdonisJS creators' total liability to you for any claims, damages, or losses resulting from the use of AdonisJS Plus is limited to the amount you paid for the license. They are not liable for any consequential damages or third-party claims.

Refund Policy

We offer a 30-day no-questions-asked refund policy. If you're unsatisfied with AdonisJS Plus, contact us within 30 days of purchase for a full refund. Email: virk@adonisjs.com.

Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of India. Any disputes must be handled in courts located within this jurisdiction.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated via the email you used for your purchase or through our website.
